My dear compatriots,
This year Nowruz carries a deeper and more profound meaning than in years past. It coincides with a great awakening in the pursuit of reclaiming freedom and national dignity for Iran.
My thoughts are with the families who recently lost their loved ones at the hands of a regressive regime. I wholeheartedly partake in their grief, and wish them peace, serenity and endurance. I yearn to witness the joy and happiness of my compatriots in a free and dignified Iran. May the strength of our people from this day on be devoted to restoring our sacred homeland to its rightful place among the community of free nations. May the name of Iran and the Iranian people once again resonate with the same respect and pride by which it was known not so long ago.
Light will prevail over darkness.
