I am profoundly saddened by the passing of our acclaimed singer, Aref, so far away from his homeland, and extend my heartfelt condolences to his dear children and family. May his soul rest in peace. With his warm voice and unforgettable lyrics, he will always be remembered as the “Sultan of Hearts”.
I hope that all our cherished and venerated artists currently living in exile will soon be able to offer their talents on sacred Iranian soil.
