In these trying times, my heartfelt condolences go out to the mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, friends and all those who are mourning the loss of innocent victims, and also to all those standing by the injured in Iran. I share in their profound grief. Their sacrifice weighs heavily on my conscience. May all the wounded have a speedy recovery and return to the peaceful and loving embrace of their loving families as soon as possible.
I am proud of every freedom-loving Iranian who stands for a brighter future with courage, resilience, and hope. The thought of the thousands of our freedom fighting sons and daughters who are currently enduring hardship and injustice behind prison walls is not forgotten.
It is my conviction that light will prevail over darkness, and that our beloved homeland Iran will soon reach the liberty, peace and dignity its people so profoundly deserve.
